SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY – MTX DESIGNS

OVERVIEW

This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains how MTX Designs handles the collection, delivery and installation of both custom-fabricated products and standard items such as wall art and décor. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

  1. ORDER PROCESSING

All orders are processed after confirmation of payment and approval of any required measurements or drawings. Custom-fabricated items will only enter production once the deposit has been received and all specifications have been approved in writing.

Standard products that are in stock will be prepared for dispatch within 2–5 working days unless otherwise stated.

  1. LEAD TIMES

Estimated lead times depend on the type of product:
• Custom fabrication: timelines provided on quotation based on complexity
• Standard wall art and décor: 2–5 working days for dispatch
• Large installations: scheduled according to production queue and site readiness

Lead times are estimates and may be affected by material availability, weather conditions, public holidays or unforeseen supplier delays.

  1. DELIVERY OPTIONS

MTX Designs offers:
• Collection from our premises by appointment
• Courier delivery for standard products
• Dedicated delivery and installation for large fabricated items

Delivery costs are calculated based on size, weight and destination and will be confirmed before payment.

  1. INSTALLATION DELIVERIES

For products that require installation, the client must ensure:
• Clear access to the site
• Electricity availability
• Safe working conditions
• Structural readiness for mounting

If our team arrives and installation cannot proceed due to site issues, a call-out rescheduling fee may apply.

  1. RISK AND OWNERSHIP

Risk in the product passes to the customer upon delivery or collection. Ownership remains with MTX Designs until full payment has been received.

  1. COURIER DELIVERIES

Standard items sent via courier must be inspected upon receipt. Any visible damage to packaging must be noted with the courier before signing acceptance.

MTX Designs is not responsible for delays caused by third-party courier companies once the parcel has been handed over.

  1. DELIVERY AREAS

We deliver primarily within the Western Cape and other regions of South Africa by arrangement. Long-distance deliveries may require additional crating or transport fees.

  1. FAILED OR MISSED DELIVERIES

If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address details or customer unavailability, additional delivery charges may apply.

  1. CHANGES TO ORDERS

Any changes to delivery address or specifications must be communicated in writing before dispatch or installation scheduling.
